Information about ski pass The Wurzeralm 1-day ski pass is only valid on the Wurzeralm. PREMIUM multi-day ski passes are valid on the Wurzeralm and in Hinterstoder, the ski bus between the Wurzeralm and Hinterstoder can be used free of charge. Even small children (born in 2021 or later) need a ski pass! The KidsCard mini can be purchased for € 5 plus a € 4 KeyCard deposit upon presentation of proof of the child's age (e.g. E-Card, Upper Austrian family card, etc.) and a valid adult ski pass directly at the ticket counters on site.

An overview of the Wurzeralm ski resort
Skiing at the Wurzeralm: Family-friendly and full of variety—The Wurzeralm is located in the Pyhrn-Priel region within the 360° Alpenland and captivates visitors with its unique setting against the impressive backdrop of the Warscheneck and the Totes Gebirge. Thanks to its excellent public transport links, it is one of the most easily accessible ski resorts in Upper Austria.
With a total of 22 kilometres of slopes, winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to varied skiing fun for all abilities:
10 km of easy slopes

2 km of difficult slopes
The modern infrastructure ensures maximum comfort. With Europe’s fastest funicular, guests can reach the ski resort in no time at all. In total, there is one funicular, two chairlifts, three T-bar lifts and two conveyor belts in the Sunny Kids Park.

Winter holidays in the Pyhrn-Priel region
The Pyhrn-Priel holiday region offers far more than just alpine skiing. Cross-country skiers will find perfect conditions on around 120 kilometres of trails at four different altitudes. Winter walkers and snowshoe enthusiasts can explore over 100 kilometres of marked routes leading through snow-covered forests, to picturesque mountain lakes and rustic huts.
A special experience is full-moon ski touring on the Wurzeralm. On Wednesdays and on full-moon nights, the ascent track is open until 10 pm, providing unforgettable experiences in the wintry mountain landscape.
The natural toboggan runs in Rosenau/Edlbach and Hinterstoder also guarantee fun for the whole family, both during the day and under floodlights.
