Nordkette – Top of Innsbruck: From the heart of the city straight into the Alps

Thanks to the modern Hungerburgbahn, the adventure begins right in Innsbruck’s Old Town. After just eight minutes, visitors reach the Hungerburg – with an optional stop at the popular Innsbruck Alpine Zoo. From there, the route continues a few steps further to the Seegrubenbahn, which takes you high up into the fascinating mountain world of the Nordkette.

The crowning glory awaits at Hafelekar, 2,300 metres above sea level: a breathtaking 360° panoramic view opens up – on one side the “Capital of the Alps”, on the other the wild Karwendel Nature Park. A contrast that impresses and remains unforgettable.
