Just an hour’s train journey from Vienna, you’ll find 14 kilometres of varied slopes, impressive panoramic views and one of Europe’s best night-skiing areas. From Semmering railway station, it takes about 20 minutes’ walk to reach the valley station of the Hirschenkogel cable car. At weekends and during the holidays, a free winter shuttle provides a convenient direct link to the cable car.

Another highlight is the 3-kilometre-long illuminated adventure toboggan run. With exciting lighting effects and a tunnel, it guarantees fun for young and old alike. The modern 8-seater gondola lift takes skiers, walkers and tobogganists comfortably up the mountain and operates both during the day and in the evening.
